Over the last few years, various airlines have painted nostalgic liveries on their aircraft to promote the history of the company. Artist J.R. "Butch" Heilig came up with a possible design for Northwest Airlines. Ship 3243 - an Airbus A320 - is shown above in the North Central paint scheme used by "The Route of the Northliners" during the latter portion of the airline's operation. |
